elisha's gyg notebook: year 13!!
Hello everyone! After following a bunch of Grow your Grades threads from last year, I was inspired to start my own to stay motivated and achieve my desired grades in my exams.
Notes:
☆ I am studying History, Chemistry and Mathematics (WJEC)
☆ AS grades: BCC
☆ Dream course: Environmental Geoscience
☆ Grades needed: ABB
I will be regularly updating this thread to stay on top of revision and uni applications. Let this be a blessed academic year for us all! Please feel free to drop your own threads so I can follow your journey too🫶

I do a different qualification called highers but they are equivalent to a-levels i’m pretty sure, here’s my blog <3

YAYY IT'S FRIDAY
⭒ Wrote up my analysis of sources 2 and 3 for my Crusades coursework
⭒ Planning to do my conditional probability homework
I completed the Maths Olympiad for Girls on Wednesday woop woop
The questions were really hard and I only managed to do partial working for the majority of the questions, but I was able to achieve a final answer for question 2😮*💨

OMGG IT’S SO NICE TO SEE YOU!!! My top choices are Southampton and Cardiff, but I’m also thinking of applying to Swansea, Bristol, and between Keele and Birmingham. What about you??

I'm only in Y12 at the minute, but am hoping for Exeter/UCL as my top choice (will have to see if my mocks allow that though haha) I've heard some great things about Cardiff, so that's a possibility too!!

⭒ Completed analysis of source 4 on my Crusades coursework
I'm only doing 2 tasks at the moment to get my motivation back up. Doing tons of past paper questions for chemistry though for my topic test on Thursday!! I'm also quite happy I'm nearly done with writing up most of my coursework, after I'm finished with it I can finally make some edits😋
How has everyone's weekend been??
