GCSE Retake

hey, i’m a private candidate computer science student, and I have a question…
i took 8 subjects in my O LEVELS GCE, and got an ‘U’ in Chemistry. now i recently started my AS levels, and i was thinking that i should complete my AS Levels FIRST then Retake Chemistry AFTER AS/A Levels. now i know that’s possible but would it be any troublesome for my admission applications in universities?
Do you need to retake chemistry for the uni course you want to do?

Unless it's a science degree or a top uni like oxford or cambridge, then not really. Might help to check the entry requirements of courses you want to do.

It depends on the uni and degree 🙂 some unis have specific gcse requirements or courses which require certain gcse grades for entry. You can check some uni requirements for some unis you’re interested in
