Law acceptance possible at KCL and Durham with low GCSE grades???

I am predicted A*AA for my A levels (English, Geo, History) and have been scoring 29 in LNAT practise papers on Arbitio site.....are these high enough to be accepted into Durham or KCL? Unfortunately my GCSE's are not as strong - 9,8,8,6,6,5,5,5,4 (9 and 8's for English and Geography) so I am worrried these will effect my chances. I have already eliminated UCL, LSE and Oxbridge as they seem to look at GCSE's more closely. Anyone have similar grades and been accepted?

No one cares about GCSE grades as long as you meet the minimum. Your A-level preds seem solid and LNAT looks good.

I would also consider Bristol, Manchester and Nottingham that are on the same level of the schools you listed with the exception of LSE(a bit overrated) and Oxbridge.

Only to an extent, to see they are satisfactory you don't need all 9's or 8's, the OP's grades are good enough. A levels on the other hand would be more of an issue.

No the GCSE grades aren't high enough for a strong application...

I got offers from Law offers from KCL, Durham, Exeter, Surrey and Bath (politics) with these grades. LNAT was 24. Thankfully these Unis overlooked the lower GCSEs.

I got four law offers from KCL, Durham, Exeter, Surrey and Bath (Politics) and 24 LNAT with the above GCSEs so there is hope!

no way?? YAYYY - THAT'S AMAZING. Did u come from a badly performing skl? or were u contextual? I js want to know how much these unis acc focus on gcse's. Also how did u choose between the London unis? I hear KCL is harder to get into than UCL but idk how true that is

I am an international students so I think that is why as both KCL and Durham told me that as my GCSEs were taken outside of the UK they wouldn’t be considered. UCL and LSE do look at GCSEs I believe. Also, I do three essay A Level subjects so I think my LNAT essay was strong.
