maths epq ideas that could get A*
hiyaa i want to do maths at university and im taking epq so i think its a good idea to do a maths related epq however idk what to do it on as obviously it can’t be related to my course (maths or further maths with fp1 and fp2) i really want a good idea that is pure maths but a genuinely interesting question that i can research and produce a amazing piece of work out of but i literally have no ideas
the only idea ive had is based on this documentary i watched which talks about whether maths was invented or discovered but im afraid it will be too “basic” idkkk
if it’s helpful my favourite topic by far are vectors
if anyone has any ideas please lmk because our ideas are due in a week 😭

hi im a bit late but have you ended up finding an idea cause im lowkey in the same position and idk what to do 😔 and we dont even do proper epqs in northern ireland so its a bit different. my teacher is lit an english teacher and idk how to explain my project to her simply without using complex maths terminology
