Chance at Cambridge Interview With TMUA of 6

Hi, I am international and applying to Cambridge for 2025 start, I got predicted a 43 for IB, however, I am struggling to achieve above a 7 on my TMUA practices. Lets say the worst happens and I get a 6 for the OCTOBER TMUA, will Cambridge take in consideration of my 43 IB score or am I automatically cut off and will not receive an interview chance because of the low TMUA score.

If I got an interview chance and did fairly well on it, would my admission chances be lower due to the low TMUA score?

PS Applying to clare L100 Economics.

Thank you

Gonville and caius TikTok said you’re likely to get an interview if you are above the 25th percentile

Yes, your chance of admission will be lower if you have a lower TMUA score, because they will look at every part of your application holistically to determine how strong your application is.

6 isn't an amazing score on TMUA for Cambridge Econ, and you may not be invited to interview stage with that, depending on the interview rate of the college you apply to. Good luck.

What TMUA score did you get in the end? I hope you got an interview!
