A level French (AQA)

Hi,I’ve just started French a level aqa and I’m struggling to find resources for it. Anyone who does this subject and exam board please let me know which one you guys use (it doesn’t matter whether you need to pay for it or not).

Hi im in year 13 doing a level AQA french! Definitely get the AQA topic text books if your sixth form/college hasn’t already provided them, and in terms of other resources I totally agree that there is not much out there. What novel and film are you studying?

Nice! I can’t help you there as I am doing l’etranger and entre les murs but I think there are textbooks available for all the books/films in AQA:smile:

Hi, those are the same I do. I use quizlet for quotes for both. I also have the La Haine study guide which is really useful and also this document - https://itpworld.online/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/lahaine2012notes.pdf .Youtube has lots of video essays for La Haine which is helpful for understanding concepts too.

But yeah sadly there are zero resources which makes the topic even harder if you aren't a native speaker.

OMFG I was just about to make a post asking for La Haine advice but this resource is BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you so much!! Do you have any tips on how to divide quotes into themes/what topics to make notes on? (e.g. use of sound/depictions of violence/depictions of comedy etc. - basically themes that may crop u in an exam?) Again, thanks for your help

I don't sorry. I struggle so much with La Haine because I can't find a version with french subtitles and no one puts where in the film they find the quotes lol
