Will i hace enoufg funding left

I dont think im going to do an access module. (But i might but this isnt avout my question.)

So i started a certificate of higher education. Had to diffur. So my 'gift year' is used up. If i go for the same course again or at least abother choice but still a cert of HE at part time will i have enough funding to study my degree after at a part time level? Through the ou?
I know if i did full time i would need to self fund 1 year. But if i went part time on my degree afain will i get the whole thing funded plrase? As if not i think i am forced to to the access cpurse i dont particularly want to do. (Although i know its a great option as wont eat into my funding and i think id start my degree quicker too) thabk for reading

Hi Lottie,

Just for clarification, how many years have you previously studied since leaving further education and is it a full time undergraduate course you're now looking to study? Thanks, Jason

Thank you. If you are studying this part time and don't have a qualification then you'd be funded for all years of your course. Thanks, Jason

Yes part time. I get funding for the whole certHE and have already used giftted year. But after my certHE would i have enough funding left to start and complete the finally 2 years of an honors degree aswell? If studied part time. I think im correct in understanding i will start from year 2 as the certificate is equivalent to year 1. Im wanting the degree in social care or psycology so i think both would allow me to startat year2 which ever degree i end up choosing. Its just if i wont get full funding for the degree after funding the certificate i would need to scrap the certificate and do access then degree instead. Hopefully i can do certificat part time (gift yeae already used) and finally 2 years of degree also funded. Makong my application today so just need to be sure what route to take thabk you for the help this far

Hi there,

If the part time course you start is not an equal level qualification then you will get full funding for your course.

Thanks, Drew

Thank you. It will be equal to the certificate for year 1. But im thinking i will be starting level 2 then 3 so it wont be equivalent to that. Thabj you. I will stick with the certificate over the access course instead. Thank you for your time and guidance
