Hi,
I know exactly how you feel, and I know how draining it is.
Chances are he probably wasn't. It's really helpful to explore the sensation of sonder, and acknowledging people have just as much going on in their lives as you do, and it would probably be unlikely that you would be the topic of conversation because they don't know you. Another idea that helps is just saying to yourself 'so what?'. So what if they're talking about me? It's not like I have to hear what they're saying, so why let it dwell on my mind? I have bigger things to worry about than what a stranger thinks.
If you don't hear it, it's not your problem.

I know being perceived can weigh you down and take up so much space in your mind, but equally it isn't going to be something that you can control so it shouldn't be something you should concern yourself with
Hope this helps!
