If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

year 12 Investment banking work experience.

I know its only September and most banks open around october- december but o am in year 12 and wanting to start applying for work experience places so i can boost my CV etc.
Are there any websites which have lists of work experiences for 16-18 or something along those lines. Preferably in person as last year i missed the deadlines for many.

If not does anyone know how to get a work experience at a smaller IB firm - reaching out on linkedin??? Please let me know if you can help me

Generally only the large IBs offer formal pre-uni work experience programs. Beyond that, it's a case of relying on family connections or cold emailing firms' HR inboxes.

With respect to a list of IB work experience positions, I'm currently unaware of one. But really, it's just a simple case of listing down all the major IB's, then checking their websites - not exactly rocket science. If you can't get yourself organized enough to apply within the 1-2 months their application window is open, IB might not be for you at this stage.
