How to ask him to hang out?

Want to ask my crush to hang out at lunch and hopefully on the weekends but idk how? Like at lunch I was gonna ask him to go on a walk but I chickened out lol so how to ask him? I don’t want to do it where there’s loads of people but we’re currently just friends. So he’ll think of it as a friends walk and then I can hopefully get to know him better? Help please x

I know, but it’s not that easy. It would’ve been easier if it’s a guy I don’t like because I wouldn’t have cared if he said yes or no, or how I look or me embarrassing myself etc but because I like this guy I’m overthinking everything. Like what do I say? What if things get awkward? How can I tell him I like him?

I would say just hang out with him as friends first before getting all confident and asking him out (as realistically, it’ll feel more comfortable to ask him out when you get to know him better). Perhaps after a lesson and ask if you could join him for lunch as you can’t find your friends?
