Dsa mac upgrade

Hello,

I have started a post grad in content creation and will be needing a Mac for it. I am debating whether to buy one myself after seeing that you would have to pay around £800 for the upgrade to Mac with DSA and probably wait around 6 weeks to get it at the earliest as I still am yet to even have my needs assessment. I have had one previously at under grad so I know I would be awarded a laptop. I just wanted to check if the price and wait time information I’ve seen seems right as I can’t really find many updates posts.

I had a student with this issue, it worked out cheaper to buy from Apple with student discount, Apple care by the way is a very good idea! :-)

I'm also getting a mac upgrade through the DSA and I'm running into the same problem with the wait times versus just buying it myslef. Did you find a solution? Also which mac model did you get as I need mine for some basic modelling but I'm not too sure which model to get 😅
