Social Sciences PGCE application?
Hello! I am approaching the end of my Psychology Degree and I am wanting to get into teaching once I finish. I have been looking into Social Science PGCEs however I am slightly confused as to whether I qualify.
As i said, I am currently doing an undergraduate psychology degree, and I also did Psychology at A level alongside history and english literature.
Would I still be able to apply despite not doing a sociology or criminology A Level/ Degree?

It's great to hear that you're interested in studying at Manchester Met!
We would instead recommend applying for PGCE Secondary Psychology with QTS which you will be better suited for. If you're looking to apply for September 2025, applications will open in October and we recommend applying as soon as possible because the course will close once it's full.
