Non-target Uni’s for IB/Consulting grad roles

Hi all,

Currently in final year and the general consensus online is that theres no point in applying for IB/Consulting unless you are from a target, or at least semi-target, university. I attend Aston University, studying economics. Had a placement year in the civil service doing econometrics. Would it be a waste of time filling applications for these roles?

If so, are there any similar roles, or alternatives that can lead to the same positions.

Thanks all.
well if you don't apply you certainly can't get in.

How insightful.

On a more serious note, yeah, you don't stand a chance. Get a masters at a target. Also, check out the Canary Wharfian website for tips and advice
