Hi, I need advice on where to apply for medicine.

Chemistry - 8
Latin - 8
Computer Science - 8
English Literature - 8
Biology - 7
Maths - 7
English Language - 7
Geography - 7

A levels (Predicted):
Biology A*
Chemistry A
Geography A

UCAT (ehh)
VR 590
DM 660
QR 690
AR 630
Total 2570
SJT band 1

WEX:
Hospital 1 week ( Great Ormond Street)
1-day Cardiovascular Work experience
Volunteering at BHF and other charity shops
Volunteered at Kings College Hospital

Contextual: Progress 8 score of GCSE school was below the national Average

Ones I am thinking about (but am open to other suggestions and thoughts):

Hey @Kryptech,

I hope you're keeping well. 🙂

Firstly, I have to say, congrats on those fantastic grades - you're definitely on the right path!
Based on what you've shared, I do think you should check out Kent and Medway, as it seems like it might be a great fit for you, given your strong academic background and list of work experience.

Regardless, your UCAT score is solid, and your work experience (especially at Great Ormond Street and King's College Hospital) is outstanding. This is going to serve you really nicely in any applications you choose to pursue, as it quite rightly shows a good level of commitment and exposure to real healthcare settings.

KMMS looks beyond just numbers and places a lot of value on holistic admissions, considering personal attributes, contextual data, and life experiences, which sounds like it aligns really well with your profile. They also provide a supportive learning environment and cutting-edge facilities, so it’s definitely worth checking out more!

I'd love to invite you to an Open Day on October 19th hosted in Medway, which might interest you, and which I hope you'll love.
Regardless, I hope this helps, even if just a little!

Warm regards,

David 🙂

Hi

I would say with these stats, Keele university would be a very good option as they don't require too high of a UCAT. You also have lots of good work experience which will be great for the roles and responsibilities form.

If you have any questions/need any advice then message @sciencesolutions2024 on Instagram. Me and my friend made it and are both year 2 medics
