Am i first generation of my immediate family to go to uni

Hello everyone. I am a little confused as to the question regarding whether i count as first generation to go to uni as my sister goes to university.
If 'You are the first generation of your immediate family to go to university.'

My parents haven't been to uni, but after my dads family came to the uk my uncle (dad's brother) got a degree. So would i still fit into this category

I think your sister and you counts as the "first generation" to go uni, regarding your uncle you don't count him as immediate family.

I guess to give an advance to families that struggled with going uni or something along those lines

I meant to type advantage, as in they maybe look at them before the rest or something like that?
Otherwise it would be kind of useless to put that
