If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

Is it weird to ask my personal tutor for a "cv review" ?

Hey, im doing a degree in software engineering (starting year 2), and was thinking of applying for placement years and internships in second year (still deciding so i figure ill apply and see what happens lmao)

since uni is just starting, and since i have a intro to placement lecture thing next week, i thought id ask my personal tutor for a cv review, and also go see the career service people when uni like properly starts

is this weird / not what personal tutors are for? also i didnt really speak to them a lot last year (like i just didnt know what to say?? :frown:

so any tips on how to like start an email would be appreciated lol)

I don't think it's weird, the worst they can do is say no. Seriously though, the whole point of a personal tutor imo is to be your main source of support that you go to (and if it's something they can't help you with they'll redirect you to another source of help) :smile:
