How much do I need to do to get into dentistry

I’m currently in year 11 and wish to apply for Dentistry. I’ve heard about applicants needing work experience, volunteering, co curricular etc but how much would I realistically need to do in order to get into dental school. I want to start doing things to boost my applications in the summer after GCSEs and wish to apply to volunteering earlier because apparently it gets competitive. I’m planning to do 2 virtual work experience, volunteering during school times and an in person one hopefully.
