Lancaster (Business Econ with placement year) or St Andrews pure econ

Looking for advice on which of these to choose in regards to employability and overall reputation. I'm not really bothered about the location of either university in all honesty just purely the chance for me to get a better job. St Andrews is higher in the rankings but I am unsure of whether graduates have high credibility in England for jobs, and whether the placement year at Lancaster makes it a more viable option. I could also do Econ and Finance and Manchester but I believe the other 2 are better options. Any advice would help.

Me personally I would go for St Andrews, its a very very good university and I applied for econ (and got rejected) despite being accepted to Cambridge, which goes to show how good it is.

definitely St Andrews, one of the hardest unis to get into in the UK, especially for competitive programmes such as econ. Make sure to work hard and get involved by joining societies, attending networking events and making use of the resources St Andrews has to offer.
