Is starting uni in switzerland or in general at age 21/22 too late?

So I am 19 and after a few years of depression and dropping out of general school, I decided to pick up my studies again and have just started in IAL and IGCSE‘s edexcel. Depending on how long it‘ll take me to write and pass all exams I think I‘ll be done either in summer 2026 or even in summer 2027. all my friends have either started uni just now or are taking a gap year and will start next year which means they‘ll all be 19 or 20 when they start. I feel like a failure and I am far behind between my peers. Everyone I once went to school with is progressing in life, they either got a job or have started/will start uni soon. Honestly feels like I‘m way behind.

I‘d love some input of people that may have gone through something similar or have attended uni. Anything really.
Do Swiss universities hate mature students? I started my first university at 28, mature students do exist; although the number of them is almost non-existent at the top, top universities, trust me.

Uhh no, not that I know of, its more just a personal feeling of falling behind my peers that sends me into existential dread
