Sorry if this is a silly question.

As we know, other uni's have rankings and are placed in league tables etc, but how come the Open University isn't included there? Plus, does anyone know what number it stands at? In other words is it a high, medium or low ranked university?

    Cheers

Interesting question, the OU doesn't normally appear in the Times, Guardian etc as normal 'brick' universities get assessed on other criteria like student facilities etc.

However, the Times Higher Educational QS rankings 2008 places the OU as the 49th top university in the UK

Also to add, the O.U was top for i think 2-3 years for student statisfaction. Pretty good in my opinion considering people don't study at a campus.
