Medicine - Applying to Buckingham After Medical Sciences

Hi,

I will be completing my undergraduate Medical Science course next year (2025) in the UK. I would like to study Medicine afterwards and am wondering if I can apply to study Medicine at the University of Buckingham as a home student. Could you also provide information on the entry requirements I would need to meet?

I am unsure whether I should apply for the undergraduate or postgraduate Medicine programme. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I appreciate that you must have got the answers to your questions by now, but thought to post a response for those who might have similar questions and come across this thread in the future. At Buckingham we accept applications for medicine from graduates who completed a degree in a subject cognate to medicine with a minimum of 2.1 or above. As we do not offer a graduate entry onto this programme, all of our students (school leavers and those who have done a first degree) complete the full 4.5-year MB ChB programme. Therefore, when you apply, you apply for undergraduate medicine programme. Hope this helps!
