Oxford law students: did you have 3/4/5 A levels?

Your assumptions about a fourth A level are incorrect. Oxford only wants to see three A levels. Nor is the admission process based simply on numerical data such as LNAT scores. Some candidates with above average LNAT scores are rejected. Some candidates with below average LNAT scores are accepted.

Would this a case of the requirement being 3 (‘Oxford only wants to see 3 A levels’) but the reality being that 4 demonstrates better ability to handle a much heavier workload, so it’s still pretty looked for in a candidate? I don’t meant to grill you but judging from the people around me who have gotten an offer, they all have 4+ A-levels and I want to make sure I’m not jeopardising my application too much

If Oxford preferred four A levels to three, it would say so on its website. It doesn't. The fact that some of those who obtain places have four A levels is not indicative of a causal relationship between number of A levels and admission to the university.

You appear from your opening post to have convinced yourself that you will suffer a disadvantage if you don't take four A levels. There is, however, no reasonable basis for that proposition.
