Job interview dress code help

So I have a job interview at very short notice so I don't have time to go shopping and I'm struggling to figure out what to wear as the dress code is smart back clothes.

I have tights and a nice skirt however I don't own a black smart t shirt I only have long sleeve black tops. I usually wear a smart white shirt for interviews. I have one black dress but I don't feel like it would be appropriate for the interview.

I've been told that the interview date could be changed however I risk not having an interview if an alternative date can not be arranged as the original interview will be cancelled regardless.

Any advice ?
Your interview comes with a black dress code? White or light coloured long sleeved shirt with a simple dark coloured skirt is a pretty standard interview outfit. But if they tell you that you have to wear black, then you should follow their instructions. Maybe you could throw on a black cardigan over your black dress if it's too revealing or wear your dress with black tights if it's too short? Or ask your friends or family whether you can borrow their clothes?

So my dress has a slit down the sides not massive but it's noticeable.
