Neuroscience EPQ
Hi. I'm an A-Level student studying 4 A-levels: Bio, Chem, Maths and Physics. I want to start an EPQ on a neuroscience topic as I want to be a neurosurgeon in the future.
After looking at the different topics within neuroscience, I have a topic of interest.
' To what extent can neuroplasticity and neurogenesis impact our brain in response to trauma '.
Would this be a good topic to write and research about in terms of neuroscience.

That would be a BRILLIANT topic and I'm almost jealous I didn't do my EPQ on that 😀 (I did it on lobotomies instead...). My only warning is it will be quite a technical topic but it is definitely a good topic for neuroscience, I'm a 3rd year biomed student specialising in neuroscience and we do a lot of neuroplasticity this year

Don't worry. The technicality of the topic doesn't worry me. It was whether people had done neuroscience topics as an EPQ before that worried so thank you for your reply. Also lobotomy is an amazing topic to talk about.
