Right! Thank you for confirming. I have been stuck on screen tests since 5th September so it's not looking for me as of now. The only hold-up I can otherwise think of might be that I am an international applicant. Regardless, it's great to know that things are moving, all the very best for Friday! Thank you but I think we are in the same situation. I think they have probably sent all the AC invitations today if he has received it. Anyway never lose hope ahah

Any idea what would be the compensation/package for Sales,Trading and Structuring grads scheme ?

I don’t think they have all been sent out, mine is really early and know no one else with one. I think mine may just be the very first ones idk though.

No I don’t have any S&T experience at all. I’ve just done lots of extra curric etc. Tbh I was quite surprised I’ve been sent out the AC invitation and also so early but I’m not complaining haha.

I've had people discourage others (myself included) into applying for any S&T grad scheme if you didn't do an internship in S&T. As in they were adamant that you wouldn't even be considered. Maybe they were projecting and trying to dampen the competition haha

I think it would definitely help, however I have been picked for the AC with no experience so use me as an example as someone without experience!
Definetely go for it if you want to go into that sector. I think I have had a bit of luck paired with myself doing lots of extra curric activities to show I clearly have a passion for markets and finance.

Hey! How was your AC on Friday?

AC was good fun! I was very nervous going into it but the culture and people at Barclays defo shone through the interviewers there! Very friendly and I think mine went quite well, interviews were fun and mostly focused about learning about myself, skills and motivations. Looking forward to hearing back, fingers crossed!

During the interview, were any technical questions asked, like did you need knowledge of option theory etc?

Do you know when they will contact you to let you know the outcome of the assessment centre?
