Birmingham doesn’t look at sjt and they use a ucat cut off system to award interviews with an AAA expectation, your defo getting an interview there.
Sheffield and manny deprioritise b3 but anyone above their ucat cut off (you are) are likely to get an interview it’s more so if you are below and b3 where they’ll prioritise b1 and b2

i need to help as my school wants me to submit my application by this Friday, my predicted grades at a level are A*AA in bio physics and chem, my gcses are 99988888+distinction star in a btec and my ucat is 2520 + band 3 🥴, I feel like my personal statement is really well rounded with lots of extracurriculars, work experience, research experience and volunteering. where should i apply to strategically to maximise my chances, I'm thinking Cardiff, Plymouth, so far and for an aspirational choice was thinking of QMUL(may be to far fetched tho) and dk on a 4th decision.

Imo go for Liverpool, Dundee

because my application has been sent to my school, not the unis yet i might still be able to change my choices ( might put dundee instead of QMUL)

Idk abt qmul but I think it’s more difficult to get into than Dundee, imo do the switch

Hi you should definitely apply to Newcastle since they don’t look at SJT and have a cut off around 2600 every year for UCAT so you are basically guaranteed an interview. Not guaranteed a place though since after interview they only decide based on interview score and nothing else.
