Hi Muneeb,
I am a 4th Year KCL medical student and would heavily advise against applying as ur GCSE's mean that you only get 20/40 points for GCSE section. Your UCAT however is exceptional so well done but im not sure its enough for an interview. I would suggest switching that choice for manchester and possibly look at Imperial/UCL as they have less os an emphasis on GCSE grades. Hope that helps

hi, i also wanted to apply to kings. i got 2960 b1 in ucat and gcses are 9999999877 with 3A* predicted and A* for EPQ, is my ucat score enough and what post-interview factors do they look at when deciding?? Do you think applying to KCL would be too risky? also what other universities should I consider looking at?? I was thinking birmingham, notts, southampton or leceister atm.

What GCSEs are considered to be 40/40?

What GCSEs are considered to be 40/40?

Eight subjects with 8&9s, this is how they score:

For GCSEs, points were awarded according to the number of A*s achieved at GCSE (subject is not considered). Less than 5 scored 0, 5 scored 10, 6 scored 20, 7 scored 30, 8+ scored 40

you basically scored full mark 150/170 (extra 20 points for WP), so should be okay

you have scored 135/170
UCAT - 100
B2 - 5
GCSE - 30
(Extra 20 if you are WP)

My stats are 2820 B2, 999999998, Polar Quintile 3. Predicted A*A*A*A*. What would my score be and would I be eligible for contextual and I know it’s too late but do you think I’m likely to get an interview? Thank you in advance.
