Accommodation

Hi, My uni accommodation contract states that the only way to be released from the contract is if you find a new tenant to take over. My uni also has a transfer period coming up where you can essentially move into a different accommodation.

If a tenant wanted to transfer to my accommodation and I no longer what to live in said accommodation, does this count as a replacement or would the expectation be that I move into a different accommodation
also?
