Applying to med or dentistry while at uni

I am studying biomedicine and going into my third year. I applied for medicine in 2022 and was rejected and took my 5th choice. Nearly 3yrs later I regret that decision and going into my third year of biomedicine. Although I achieved 2 A* and one A at a levels in biology chemistry and maths, I disliked my course and do haven’t got good grades at uni. I still want to to do medicine or dentistry but my grades are not that good and I may not be predicted a 2:1 for graduate entry. I have sat the ucat for this year application cycle getting over 2800 but might not get the 2:1 predicted. I am stuck ans not sure what to do as it seems my a levels are better than my uni grades but if I complete my degree then I can’t use my a level grades anymore. I know it was silly to take biomedicine and should I’ve done a gap year but what do I do now. I feel stuck. Should I drop out of uni and apply or should I take a gap year from uni and apply without saying that I’m at uni as technically taking a gap year means I’m not studying at uni. I am really stuck and would appreciate any advice.

Thank you
