Durham Uni Expulsion

My only flatmate for next year was expelled and given a certificate of higher education earlier this month. They submitted an appeal yesterday with a letter from their gp saying, in short, that they had depression which is better now. They said the appeal can take up to 6 weeks to be reviewed, which means I could go into next year without a flatmate in a 2 bed. What are the chances that the appeal is successful and what should I tell my newly found flatmate options

For more context: he was expelled for failing 1 resit and missing another.
Thanks

Hiya,

There really isn't a definitive answer with knowing whether his appeal will be successful or not, but in terms of what you can do, discussing next steps and what to do in case its not successful (or if it is successful) is probably the best course of action to take at this moment. 🙂

Best of luck!
