Violin..?

So I have no idea how many other higher level violin players there are out there but I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions for louder, more resonant violin brands/violins. I have a stentor conservatoire II right now and it's been deemed too quiet and I need a more expensive violin for uni and stuff. Currently I might be playing a borrowed GEWA Meisterwerkstatten Mittenwald Adorf. Which is quite a nice violin but I'm wondering if anyone has any other advice on any we should consider?

Go to a specialist violin shop, and they should be able to help you! I don't know where you live, but if you're anywhere around London, Stringers is very good. (They start at around £500 for the nicer violins and go into the '000s, and as it's in-person, you can try them out and they're very friendly).

I'm currently at junior conservatoire and I have an incredible cello borrowed from Benslow instruments borrowing scheme - its up to £400 per year to borrow
