Career change from Physics to Finance/Healthcare?

So I recently graduated from QMUL with a 2:1 in Theoretical Physics, but I absolutely despised my degree and don’t want to continue down the route of Physics.

I have worked in forensic mental health services since I was 18 as a part time HCA and I have moved over to the OT side, currently working in community services before I pursue another career. And at uni, I worked as an outreach physics ambassador for the department and undertook and internship in science policy.

I was considering to pursue Grad Medicine because of my experience but I wasn’t too sure because of the application process, career journey and job satisfaction. Alternatively, I was looking at finance grad schemes and audit/consulting matched my likes but I don’t have very much experience in the finance sector, despite having some qualities that match what they are looking for.

I’m struggling to figure out where to go with my future career and which would be the better option. If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks

Have you considered any of the Allied Health Professions - OT, physio, radiographer, radiotherapist, orthoptist, etc.? These course are considered exception courses by SFE so you could pursue another 3-yr undegrad or 2-yr pre-reg masters and be entitled to both tuition fee and maintenance loans. Your HCA/OT work experience would stand you in good stead for the application process.
