What shall i do for my EPQ?

Hi!
I'm currently doing A-Levels, and I've decided to do an EPQ to boost my UCAS score. i was thinking of doing something along the lines of midwifery through time and i've come up with a few titles, but not sure which one i should pick. I'm trying to do a midwifery course in Uni, but thats 2 years away at the moment, so I want to do something along the lines of midwifery and/or nursing to help myself understand it a bit more. here are my headings so far:
- How has the role of the midwife changed in modern times compared to that of medieval times
- What was the role of the midwife in the 1800's
- How has birth control and pain control during birth changed over time
- What is the role of a midwife in the modern periods
- How has birth rate changed over time thanks to the help and role of midwifes and the NHS

Anyways that's my options, what do you think i should do?

Breastfeeding is a subject that many people don't talk about to much.

I think away back in the 1800s nursing would have been horrendous working alongside people with terrible diseases and not surviving unlike today when you have all the technology to pinpoint what is wrong with someone - midwifery would have probably been similar but the way they done things was absolutely horrendous and it would have been like this until the 1940s when the NHS started and things improved.

Do your research and studying about those things you have written about and hopefully you will be able to get the answers.

I wouldn't post what your subject headlines are going to be as this is supposed to be your own work and not others copying it.

There's people on here who are midwives if you want to drop them a message on advice and here is one that I know @Tracey_W 😊😊

A NHS adult nurse. ( Qualified in summer 2023)
