Lancaster uni-integrated masters’ in psychology

Does anyone know how the integrated masters’ in psychology (MPsych) works? It doesn’t seem to have a specialisation in a particular field so I was wondering how we go about choosing our modules? (Can we pick any masters’ modules eg. development and social psych etc. or are we restricted to particular ones only?)

Id be wary of doing an integrated masters in Psychology. You are significantly cutting down your options if you want a career in psychology, as most people who do pick a specific masters in things like research (MRes) or things like Clinical Psychology etc, and do so after they have honed their interests. If you dont want a career in psychology then id still just stick to the undergrad, as you will be using your postgrad funding during this course so you wont get the chance to do a funded postgrad again in a different subject if you change your mind.

Hello, @Caring54321 , thank you for your question! I myself, am unable to find information regarding an Integrated Masters in Psychology here at Lancaster. This leads me to believe that our undergraduate (bachelors) and postgraduate (masters) courses are separate for psychology.
