How to beat 47 line/4000 char frustration

The 47 line, 4000 character limit is a real pain, particularly the 47 lines.

Here is a template to help you keep an eye on both while you're writing. It's a Microsoft Word and Google Docs file which is formatted to exactly match the size of the UCAS form. It saves the endless cycle of edit, copy, paste into UCAS, preview, check, re-edit. Instead, just write your statement using this template and you can immediately see if it will fit the UCAS form. Basically, if it flows onto a second page, it's too long.

TL;DR download one of the templates below, and follow the instructions included. I hope it saves you time! (Please rep if it works for you.)

Microsoft Word: PS 47 line template.docx (Open link, click the download icon and save it to your device. Or download the attachment on this post.)
Google Docs: PS 47 line template.gdoc (Open link, click File > Make a copy, save it in your Google Drive.)
