a level english literature NEA help

hi, i’m doing my english literature NEA (feminist critique of the bell jar) and I literally have no clue what to do so if anyone else has/is doing the same or just generally has any ideas please let me know :smile:

hi! i am currently doing my nea with the bell jar compared with the yellow wallpaper & the rocking chair. for feminist critique i personally would talk about intersectionality or the lack thereof in the bell jar, there are some pretty strange racial undertones and it's very white feminism centred. i'm talking about how the patriarchy causes psychological declines in mine, and so far i've mainly talked about the journey of publishing the book, and esther's self image, but i plan on talking about doreen and betsy, the presence of buddy willard and how he brushes over her illness, joan, etc. good luck on ur nea!
