if you don't pass you are missing basic notions and strong foundation knowledge in mathematics. what you need is to go over every single lesson on the foundation course at least and watch videos starting from the easiest stuff and doing practice questions after going towards the most difficult stuff.
•
I recommend getting drfrost (free) or any other platform that has GOOD explanatory videos and then also has practice questions that get corrected instantly with explanations of answers. Start from the start of the GCSE spec.

If you struggle with understanding (which ig you do) get a teacher/tutor to explain stuff you don't understand to you until you get it. By this, I don't mean them spoon-feeding you everything since this is the approach at GCSE and it didn't seem to have worked. You will try on your own using whatever platform watching videos and doing questions until you get stuck. Whenever you don't understand something, take a screenshot, write it down on a piece fo paper and go to them so that they can help you.

You might struggle with motivation at this point, which is very understandable. Try having a motivating thing ( a trip somewhere, a goal) that will motivate you to keep going. You can also try a study buddy that is also resitting GCSE maths so that you feel lonely and less of a failure because you have someone going through the same thing and you can help out each other.

Don't give up! GCSE maths is tough and you don't really remember the content once it's out of the way. It's just THIS thing you gotta do that will defo make your future life easier.
