Hi jhnxna,
Well done for reaching out for help here with your personal statement. Is it a Bachelor's or Master's degree you're looking to embark on?
I have recently finished my Psychology and Sociology BSc so I could be of use regarding the personal statement for psychology/the psychology part of the personal statement for psychology and business.
Have you started your personal statement yet? If so, what have you written, broadly?
You may have researched already but general advice regarding personal statements include balancing it so it is brief but comprehensive, outlining why you want to go to that course and to that university - which university is it, by the way? Also, it is important to include your skills you have gained through previous work and education that is relevant to the course, and it is always a good idea to include a personal touch, because embarking on higher education will, in most cases always include a personal element/motivator to it, and it is a deeply personal journey for most.
Think of a personal statement as a cover letter for a university applications. It needs to be tailored for the course while maintaining that core element of the personal aspect and motivations that resulted from your own journey, and this needs to be well-balanced with the skills, good student profile and academic commitment you have demonstrated over the years.
If I sound like somebody that could be helpful, don't hesitate to reach out, either via here or DM, and I'll try my best to assist you, of course within reason!
Best Wishes,
Viki
