hi, tbh same i am taking a level politics and law as a private candidate,

have you registered at an exam centre? if so you will then know which exam board.
how much did they charge ?

anyways, lets be honest any subject requires practise questions and revision,

as for sociology you could buy the CGP guide, tones of online resources.

and so is law and politics, requires a lot and lot of memorisation so start from now, buy the book and memorise and learn, there are youtube channels as well, so basically we have everything we need just not the tutor 😭

if you could afford a tutor, maybe like every three month to check your work?
also are you doing them like fast track

Heyyy, ik you’ve tagged someone else. But I’m also in the same position. Little to no resources for RS. And it’s my first time ever doing this subject. So I’ll need a tutor to guide me basically but not teach. And I’ve contacted a centre who I’m going to be doing the exam with. And they’re charging in the 200-300£ margin. And then additional for anything else like ucas or mocks etc etc.
and I’m doing 2 years of content in 6 months???

politics

they have law politics and law so many videos:
https://youtube.com/@tutor2u-official?si=WU1hmPetfluS7m3D

law : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXtShDmDvfwxixalfQVs0RYnxDhlvDHrS&si=Le_Sir4hKHkkBtRN

as for sociology : https://www.cgpbooks.co.uk/all-products/sociology?srsltid=AfmBOoor9o857qO9t2-tnJLQ3bSKUV_cI7wVK-RXQcI7_BaD5dOEXuTC

and tutor2u (check the channel)

also what always helped me is i would rewrite notes, make flash cards my self as when you write it, that helps you memorise, set a plan for yourself 2 hours minimum for each subject.
btw i used the app flora to help me sit down and just study rather than playing around.

now thats cliche but , if you have a plan then forget to go out a lot and have fun too much, focus on this year to get your a levels.

for uni, you need to check what course you wanna do at every uni (5 universities) and start your personal statement to submit you application before end of january, but you need to check each uni,

also, maybe we could idk contact and help each other cuz im in same boat lol
hope that helps if i see anything online or find out any useful info i will send you.

hey i legit wrote a reply and its not sent .

i really wish i could offer help but idk much about RS.

given the fact its your first time doing the subject its so easy to panic and give up,

genuinely sit down and make a timetable its so cliché but you really need to do it the hours you spend studying depends on how hard it is to you.
but id say 2-3 h a day.

you can do it, its not IMPOSSIBLE only if you actually sit down and set a plan for yourself.

rewriting notes and memorising and using youtube videos helps a lot, then do pp which is also on the exam board website, if you panic u will give up so get up buy the book for now.

RS is easy (ppl said to me) so i think in months u will be able to get good grade,

Hey,

For some reason a lot of the comments are gone? Is that just mine?

But anyways, and I will I just need to wrap my head around it.

And find a guide or etc,
But it’s different for each centre, I’m not sure tbh!

But for the exam itself it’s 200-300£
And then for mocks I’m not acc sure 😭😭
And ucas it’s £30 ish
