serendipity and first year pharmacy ~ cherryblossomed's 24/25 GYG
hi everyone!! i hope you're all doing well! I'm making this goal to keep on top of everything and find the motivation to keep on top of it all. I'm going into my first year of pharmacy and im taking some healthy doses of copium LOLLL
I currently work part-time (but my time in this employment is coming to an end soon), manage a small-scale YouTube channel for some of my hobbies, and I aspire to join a sports team--more to keep up my fitness than anything else.
my first day of teaching starts on the 30th (and so do rent payments), but I am excited to get it started and get this whole course over and done with. i am already tired just from induction ToT
the learning system is already a lot different than what im used to and i ma reasonably scared for whats going to happen but all in all i think I'm excited to see how everything is going to go! its been a while since i last did a GYG but it is nice to be back.

not to be dramatic but i cannot stand the way my course is being run ToT. i know that in uni there is always self-guided learning because I've done a year of it already before transferring in, but being told that you'll be confused when you come to class if you haven't done that self-guided work is wild to me??? I'm paying to be taught, not to teach myself with an hour's worth of work before I get to class ToT

2 days in and nothing serious is popping up--i always dislike the first few weeks of term, I just want to get into it and the 'introductory' lectures are soooo longggg. they could put it all in an email and that would have been more than enough LOL

first few lectures have been alright, went into a cell signalling lecture and left knowing less than I did initially somehow but an attendance mark is an attendance mark LOLLLL
tommorow's tasks shall include listen to one of the module lectures because I have 4 hours worth of stuff to listen to + timetabled lectures eeee
to do:
. listen to 1 hr/1lecture
. practice routine
. tidy my kitchen and wardrobe area

finally making some headway!!! gonna have to speak to my personal tutor about what they can do to make this less stressful, but I hate when my dyslexia actually makes life hard for me like wtf. you're not supposed to do that.
