a level revision help

I am a year 13 student who is applying for medicine 2025 entry and I do biology, chemistry, and maths a levels (all OCR).
I really want to do well this year so if anyone who got A/A* in these subjects could give me advice and revision tips I would really appreciate it! x

I know it’s bad but I’m a major procrastinator so I almost always revise at the last minute, I’m obviously going to try and fix this before my actual a levels but I just really struggle with procrastination even though my grades (miraculously) don’t really suffer from it lol

with biology and chemistry I condense my notes and try to make flashcards for my end of topic tests, I find talking through processes out loud useful in biology and blurting is effective for me too, it’s just sooo much content for the both of them and I struggle with staying motivated and being consistent with revision.

I know that doing past paper questions and stuff is important but doing all of that is a lot of work and I know that makes me sound super lazy but I’m trying to do less work for a more effective result if that makes sense.

I’m just looking for advice on how to get those top grades with effective revision techniques (without doing too much) and ways I can stay motivated and be able to overcome my procrastination issues.

How many flashcards for each of your subjects do you have at the moment?

it varies for each topic, I make flashcards on my notes from school, my teachers are quite good so the content they teach doesn’t really omit anything from the textbook. I don’t always make flashcards but I have for most of my topics.

for my disease topic I have 113 digital flashcards, for classification I have 97
and there’s usually less for chemistry because there’s less factual content it’s more understanding-based

do you recommend making flashcards of the mark schemes from past paper questions? x

I would recommend using mark schemes because they include specific phrasing that will allow you to pick up marks
