TMUA if uni doesn't require it?

None of the unis I am applying to for econ have a requirement of the TMUA for their economics courses.

- Kings
- Birmingham
- Sheffield
-Southhampton

But I have enrolled to do the exam anyway. Would it be worth doing the TMUA so that if I get a good score, it would help make a stronger application?

Or do unis even look at the tmua score if they don't require it, and should I cancel the exam and get a refund?
