tutoring

So I'm currently in year 11 and I want to make some money on the weekends by tutoring history to year 10's that don't understand how to approach writing in history, but I'm not sure if anyone will take me seriously because the only qualifications I have are my mock scores (I got a 9 in history). Should I wait until the summer holidays to begin tutoring or should I start anyways and see if it will get me anywhere?

I'm not sure how far just mocks will get you, but again just ask around. however you can ask your local corner shop or restaurants if they are looking for someone?
