“What course should I do?” Is not a question you should be asking anyone but yourself.

You need to think about what it is YOU want to do in the future and then look at the university specification for the course to see if it aligns with what you want to do.

That’s like me asking what I should do as a job now that I’ve graduated (I know what I want to do) but asking you and not applying any context.

Sorry for the vague answer!

Hello! 🙂
It's great you're thinking of applying to UEA, I appreciate this may be a difficult decision to make, I remember I was in a similar position!

Think about which areas of biology you like most. Do you mostly like the genetics and molecular biology side, or do you enjoy other aspects of biology and want to study them at a degree level? If so, I'd recommend going down the Biological Sciences route as it'll give you more opportunities to study specific modules.
As you mentioned plant science, both UEA's courses will allow you to take modules in plant biology.
A lot of the content will overlap, and you will find that in some modules, there will be students who study biological sciences, molecular biology & genetics, biochemistry etc..
I'd also highly recommend attending an open day if you haven't yet and just talk to the course leaders as this can help you make a choice between the two. (You can book your place here for upcoming Open days)

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask questions if you have any! 🙂
