The Student Room Group

A level

I go to a sixth form which is a decent sixth form but it's a daily struggle to get there as I have to catch a bus and walk 3 miles daily from the sixth form and back. The sixth form I wanted to go to rejected me because I didn't get the required grades for GCSE. Suppose I write an email to the head of the sixth form and show him that I can do my wanted subject (bio, chem and physics) as I have a test upcoming and if I achieve well like 90%. Do you think he will let me join or not?

It's unlikely - but it can do no harm to try.
