Does KCL Accept wjec criminology diploma?

ive read the website and its kind of vague. they dont accept the certificate but the diploma yet theyre referring to the grade they want as "distinction" rather than A*/A.
ive contacted them and they have just referred me to the website

I am predicted A* for criminology
A* for Law
and A for history

i just want to be sure because i want to apply to the law LLB

i also take History and law a level with EPQ

Yes, they accept the WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology (and other WJEC Level 3 Applied Diplomas). To quote from this page (which you've almost certainly already seen):

"WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma

Most of our undergraduate courses will consider WJEC Level 3 Applied Diplomas, with the exception of Medicine and Dentistry. These qualifications must be taken in conjunction with two A-levels and Distinctions are usually required.

Where our entry requirements specify compulsory or preferred subjects, applicants will be expected to meet this with their A-level qualification. Please note we do not accept the WJEC Level 3 Applied Certificate for entry onto our undergraduate courses."

The reason they refer to the distinction grade is simply because they haven't bothered updating their web site since the qualification changed. The old qualification (called WJEC Level 3 Diploma In Criminology, with the code 600/3083/5), was graded as D*, D, M or P. Final certificates for that qualification were issued in December 2017. The current qualification, WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology (code 601/6248/X) is graded as A* through E.

Hey, I'm doing International development at KCL. They do accept criminology as I done the level 3 Diploma in criminology as one of my a levels, but with my acceptance they specified that I had to get a specific grade in the diploma to be accepted
