Did you know that 30% of our students join us from over 120 different countries? So we are used to giving newcomers to Bradford a very warm welcome! 
You'll find a diverse mix of people from different backgrounds, faiths, nationalities and ages all sharing the City Campus. This mixture of people creates a vibrant community atmosphere where lifelong friendships are made between students from all over the world.
Tolerance and respect for religions and beliefs are important at the University of Bradford. The city has places of worship for most faiths and religions and many of these are close to our campus.
Our Interfaith Chaplaincy team represent various faith groups and provide spiritual support and pastoral care for students of all faiths and none.
There's also the International Study Centre here at the University, a friendly, supportive space for study, cross-cultural interaction, and language learning. The centre offers:
▪️ student-led language classes, every week during term time
▪️ events and days out, including trips to places like Skipton, Ilkley, Saltaire and Bolton Abbey
