How to deal with exam stress and anxiety?

I’m in year 11 and I have a maths and English mock in two days. I’ve done revision but I feel that it hasn’t been effective and don’t feel at all prepared for the mock. I’m so anxious and I don’t know how to relax. I constantly feel the need to be revising and when I’m not I feel guilty. How can I manage with stress and also prepare quickly for it?
Hey Bella👋

Preparing for exams can be stressful. You won't be alone in the way you are feeling.💚

Self-care is extremely important during this busy time. It sounds as though you are working hard, so you don't need to feel guilty about taking the time to rest. It's a way of refueling your body. So, you'll take more information in when revising.

Take time for yourself to recharge and clear your mind. Try to eat healthy, exercise and do the things you love in between your studies.

If you find the stress gets too much, please reach out to your friends and family. Talking to them about your worries will help, and I'm sure their support will help with any anxiety you are feeling.

Remember, you can take a lot from sitting mock exams. You get to learn what revision techniques work best for you. Also, your results will help you identify the areas you need to work on before sitting your final exams.

I wish you every success in your mock exams. You may surprise yourself by how much you know. Hopefully, you'll find the experience beneficial in the run-up to your exams. Good luck!

Heyy!

Don’t stress. I know how it feels going into year 11 worrying about all the upcoming tests. Me going into year 13 now that feeling never gets old.

I too felt like I did ineffective revision for some of my early exams in year 11, but as you move along in the year you become more and more confident in your abilities trust me!

I would say enjoy this journey of growth and go into every exam feeling that even if it doesn’t go well (which I’m sure it will) there’s always another chance and exams don’t define who you are.

Best of luck.
