If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

Sitting ESAT for Imperial in January instead of October

Are you more likely to get an interview at Imperial for mech eng if you sit the esat in October? I am planning to apply for January so I can get the bursary voucher as I decided to apply a little after the deadline passed for that.

I was wondering if, maybe, doing it in October is better as this would mean more interview slots and they won’t have less offers to hand out unlike in February? They may give out more offers in Oct/ Nov slots and then be more selective for the Jan test? As in, their criteria increasing to a higher % in the ESAT to be interviewed?

I’m just curious to know and see if many people were interviewed in February and if they got in :smile:
