Newcastle Uni Partners scheme
I am applying to Newcastle (2025 entry) for Electrical and Electronic Engineering and as per the website I am eligible for a reduced offer of BCC.
However, if I were to get into Newcastle and got this reduced offer can I put it as my insurance choice as it may potentially be lower than my other (hypothetical) offers.
I am unsure whether the conditions of the PARTNERS offer require you to make it your firm choice to get the lower offer as typically your firm will be higher than your insurance, right?

It states on their website in the conditions that it must be your firm choice if you take the PARTNERS offer. I am planning to do the same as I am taking Mechanical Engineering.

If you receive a PARTNERS offer, to take advantage of it, you must:
•
Make Newcastle University your firm choice (CF) through UCAS when you make your final decisions in spring.
•
Successfully complete the PARTNERS Academic Summer School, taking place between Sunday 29th June - Friday 11th July 2025 (finalised dates will be confirmed later in the year).
